It’s clear that Hillary Clinton has secured enough delegates and superdelegates to leave socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the dust. Hillary Clinton will definitely be the Democrat presidential nominee in 2016.
With that settled, her campaign chair just came out and made a huge announcement about Hillary’s VP running mate: Hillary Clinton is very open to considering a female candidate to run with her!
From the Boston Globe:
Hillary Clinton’s short list of vice presidential options will include a woman, a top campaign official said in an interview — creating the possibility of an all-female ticket emerging from the Democratic convention in Philadelphia.
Clinton wants “the best person to make the case to the American people,” her campaign chairman, John Podesta, told the Globe. “We’ll start with a broad list and then begin to narrow it. But there is no question that there will be women on that list,” he said, adding that staffers are still focused on clinching the primary.
The development immediately injects liberal darling Senator Elizabeth Warren’s name into the growing speculation about who Clinton will choose as her running mate now that she is almost certainly on track to become the nominee.
And as political observers note, the only female candidate that seems like a likely candidate is Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who is very popular with the Democrat Party’s far-left activist base. Perhaps this is why Warren has avoided campaigning for Sanders in recent months, when he needed her the most?
Warren is a radical socialist just like Bernie and Hillary. She’s made herself popular among young “progressives” by demanding free everything, attacking private property, capitalism, and free markets, and protecting big government socialist schemes. She even recently decided to publicly attack Ted Cruz over a fundraising email he sent to his supporters. Between her and Hillary, they are a nightmare for America.
